Travel solo but never alone on this 10-day adventure through Morocco, where you'll forge new friendships and dive deep into the country’s wonders. Get lost in the winding streets of Fès’ medina with a local guide, and spend a magical night under the stars at a desert camp in Merzouga. From a lively cooking class in Casablanca, where you'll try everything from coastal tagine to Atlas Mountain couscous, to a wine tasting in Meknes, each day is designed to connect you with Morocco — and your fellow travellers. Plus, look out for a special G surprise that makes this trip even more unforgettable.
Highlights
Enjoy a narrative-focused cooking class at a local restaurant in Casablanca, Explore Roman ruins and natural gorges, Sleep under the stars and surrounded by dunes at a desert camp in Merzouga, Wander the winding streets of ancient medinas in Fés and Marrakech
Accomodation
On Solo-ish Adventures, it's all about making new friends. Accommodation for Solo-ish Adventures is in twin-share rooms. No booking or rooming requests will be taken, and matrimonial bedding is not offered on Solo-ish Adventures.
Group Leader
This G Adventures group trip is accompanied by one of our group leaders, otherwise known as a Chief Experience Officer (CEO). As the group coordinator and manager, the aim of the CEO is to take the hassle out of your travels and to help you have the best trip possible. You can expect them to have a broad general knowledge of Morocco, including historical, cultural, religious and social aspects. They will also offer suggestions for things to do and to see, recommend great local eating venues and introduce you to our local friends. We also use certified local city guides where we think more specific knowledge will add to the enjoyment of the places we are visiting - we think it's the best of both worlds.
